In Taiz governorate, one anti-personnel mine was removed in Mokha district, while one anti-tank mine and 28 unexploded ordnances were cleared in Dhubab district, and 42 unexploded ordnances in Al-Mudhaffar district.

Overall statistics and ongoing efforts

Since the beginning of August, a total of 7,444 landmines have been cleared, bringing the total number removed by the Masam project since its launch to 646,550.

Saudi Arabia, through the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, continues its efforts to clear Yemeni land of mines as part of a project aimed at enhancing civilian safety and enabling Yemenis to live more securely and stably.
