Saudi Arabia to Distribute Dates, Hold Iftar Banquets in Bosnia, Herzegovina during Ramadan

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance inaugurated here yesterday the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' gift programs for distributing dates and holding Iftar banquets during Ramadan in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in a ceremony attended by Saudi Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Osama Al-Ahmadi, Bosnian Grand Mufti Husein Kavazović and several other officials.

Some 10 tons of dates will be distributed, and more than 30,000 individuals will benefit from the programs.

On this occasion, Al-Ahmadi said that the gift reflects Saudi Arabia's commitment to serving Islam and Muslims worldwide, while Kavazović commended Saudi Arabia's continuous support to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During the month of Ramadan this year, the Islamic affairs ministry will implement the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' gift program entailing distributing dates in 93 countries, and holding Iftar banquets in 60 countries.
