Civil Defense declares end of emergency in seven Saudi cities

The General Directorate of Civil Defense has announced that the danger has passed in Khamis Mushait, AlUla, Yanbu, Taif, Jeddah, Abha, and Jazan, following an emergency alert issued by the National Early Warning Platform in these cities.

After the threat subsided, Civil Defense urged residents of Khamis Mushait, AlUla, Yanbu, Taif, Jeddah, Abha, and Jazan to continue following safety instructions, avoid gathering or taking photos, and to call 998 in case of emergencies.

The authority also reiterated that the danger in Khamis Mushait has ended, and again called on the public to adhere to Civil Defense guidelines, refrain from gathering or filming, and use the 998 emergency number if needed.
