The transport and logistics services sector inaugurated today, Sunday, the media center for the Hajj 1445 AH season at the Hajj and Umrah Terminal Complex at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah.
The center is designed to provide support and assistance to over 1,300 journalists from 16 countries during the arrival and departure phases of pilgrims via the airport throughout the Hajj season.
Operating around the clock, the media center offers a comprehensive environment for journalists, including shared workspaces and continuously updated information.
The center's launch enhances the efficiency of media operations during the Hajj season, catering to local and international media outlets, including news agencies, television channels, journalists, reporters, and photographers.
Additionally, the media center facilitates media efforts and supports journalists by providing effective and diverse communication channels. This facility enables comprehensive and accurate media coverage of the Hajj season.
The Saudi transport and logistics services sector plays a vital role in serving pilgrims across all sectors—land, sea, air, and rail transport. For the 1445 AH Hajj season, agencies under the sector offer 57 main services to pilgrims.
