Saudi Arabia resumes oil exports via East-West pipeline after repairs

Saudi Arabia has resumed oil shipments for export through the East-West pipeline after completing repairs, following drone attacks on September 10, according to Bloomberg.

Last week, Aramco began testing the pipeline and gradually increasing internal pressure in preparation for restoring oil flows by the weekend, according to people familiar with the matter who requested anonymity as the information is not public.

One of the sources confirmed that export shipments have already resumed.

Aramco CEO Amin Nasser stated last week that the company maintains operational flexibility and logistical capabilities that allow it to meet its commitments to customers despite geopolitical disruptions.

Nasser added that Aramco continues to explore additional export routes and is enhancing its storage capacity outside the Kingdom to ensure uninterrupted supplies to global markets.
