The Financial Academy today launched five specialized training programs in partnership with the Sectoral Skills Councils and the Human Resources Development Fund (Hadaf) of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, and in cooperation with the Insurance Authority. The event was attended by several sector leaders and representatives from both the public and private sectors.

The programs aim to prepare more than 125 recent graduates, equipping them with the specialized knowledge and skills required by the financial sector. This initiative is designed to enhance their readiness for the job market and support the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

Manea bin Mohammed Al-Khamsan, CEO of the Financial Academy, said: “We view graduate training as an investment in the future of the financial sector. Through these programs, we work with our partners to translate market needs into clear training pathways, providing national talent with the skills necessary to begin their careers and contribute to sector growth.”

He added: “The ongoing transformation of the financial sector requires continuous skills development and linking training to job opportunities. That is why we measure the value of our programs by their impact on graduates’ readiness and their ability to contribute in the workplace.”

Eman Al-Yami, Secretary-General of the Sectoral Skills Councils at the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, stated that this step is part of a series of initiatives planned for 2026 by the Skills Councils for the financial and insurance sectors. She noted that the initiative aims to empower and refine the skills of male and female graduates, providing them with specialized expertise to enhance their competence and competitiveness for rapid integration into the job market.

Abdullah Al-Salama, Chairman of the Financial Services Skills Council and Chief Human Capital Officer at Alinma Bank, explained that this collaboration is a key pillar in supporting and developing young national talent by equipping them with practical skills and specialized knowledge to meet the rapidly evolving needs of the banking and financial sector in the Kingdom.

The graduate development programs focus on strengthening professional competencies in securities, corporate banking, cybersecurity, as well as insurance and medical claims.

The Financial Academy is an independent legal and administrative entity, reporting to the Chairman of the Capital Market Authority. Its mission is to qualify, develop, and advance human capital in the financial sector by enhancing the knowledge, skills, and culture of its workforce, including executive leadership and board members in sector organizations. The Academy also contributes to the development and promotion of best professional practices and serves all entities in the financial sector, including banking, finance, insurance, and securities.
