Trump hails strong ties with Saudi Arabia, optimistic about kingdom's future

US President Donald Trump reaffirmed the strength of his relationship with Saudi Arabia, expressing optimism about the kingdom's future. He said, "I have a great relationship with Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia will be very good."

Trump made the comments during a brief conversation with reporters in the White House garden on Friday, before heading to a campaign rally. He described the kingdom's future as promising, but did not elaborate on what he meant by "Saudi Arabia will be very good" or link the statement to any specific action or announcement.

Trump has previously voiced his support for Saudi Arabia on several occasions, praising its defense capabilities and describing past attacks on the kingdom as "terrible."

The US president also reiterated the importance of the partnership between Washington and Riyadh, noting the strength of his relationship with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
