Yemeni commander: Forces seize strategic Huwaishiyan mountain range

A Yemeni military commander said his forces have taken control of the strategic Huwaishiyan mountain range.

The field commander told Al Arabiya that efforts are underway to clear landmines planted by Houthi militias in the area.

Meanwhile, Houthi militias continue to impose a siege on Taiz. On Sunday morning, a girl and a woman were killed and another woman was injured when a Houthi drone strike targeted a home in a residential neighborhood in the Old Airport area west of Taiz city.

The attack focused on the Tabadd neighborhood in the Old Airport district, resulting in the deaths of the two civilians and causing damage to the house and private property belonging to residents.
