Yemen's presidential council vows to restore state institutions, end coup

Yemen's Presidential Leadership Council Chairman Rashad Al-Alimi has reaffirmed the council's commitment to restoring state institutions and ending the coup.

Earlier, the armed forces targeted equipment and personnel belonging to the Iran-backed Houthi militia in the provinces of Taiz and Al-Bayda.

Armed Forces spokesperson Colonel Majed Al-Nazili said the air force struck Houthi militia equipment and fighters in the city of Mokha in Taiz province, as well as in Al-Bayda province.
