US vice president says progress made on Iran

US Vice President said that progress has been made regarding Iran.

This statement followed comments from President Donald Trump, who said the United States is speaking with the Iranians and that things are going well, without disclosing details about the nature of these discussions.

Reuters reported that Qatari mediators returned to Tehran last night to discuss the latest developments in negotiations with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi.

President Trump also stated that he has not yet made a decision regarding Iran, but noted that Iran wants an agreement, emphasizing that he is "not in a hurry" over Tehran.
