Israeli army shells western Daraa countryside in Syria

Israeli forces shelled areas in the western countryside of Daraa in Syria with several artillery rounds and machine gun fire early Thursday, with no reports of casualties.

According to the Syrian Arab News Agency, Israeli forces targeted the Abidin and Raqad valleys with multiple artillery shells, while also striking the outskirts of the village of Jamla in the Yarmouk Basin area. Gunfire was also reported from an Israeli position along the 1974 disengagement line toward the outskirts of Abidin.

A day earlier, Israeli forces had shelled the forested area near the village of Beer Ajam and the vicinity of Al-Rafid town in the Quneitra countryside with artillery.
