Dr. Turki Al-Humaidani, Director of Health Programs at the Third Riyadh Health Cluster, has highlighted the importance of early medical screening for students.

Speaking in an interview on Al-Ikhbariya Radio, Al-Humaidani said, "Early medical screening helps identify health issues that could affect a student's concentration and academic performance."

He added that medical screening also benefits the wider healthcare system by detecting problems that may reduce a student's ability to learn during their studies, with a particular focus on vision and hearing tests.

Al-Humaidani noted that the screening includes growth assessments, body mass and height measurements, checks for obesity and malnutrition, as well as a comprehensive evaluation to ensure vaccinations and the national immunization schedule are up to date.
