Saudi Food and Drug Authority lists five signs to report in veterinary products

The Saudi Food and Drug Authority has called on the public to report any changes or problems related to veterinary products, stating that such reports help enhance their safe use and reduce potential risks.

In a post on X, the authority said that reports should be made if there are concerns about the safety of a veterinary product or if any of the following signs are observed:

• Unusual differences or changes in the packaging or its information

• The product is not listed among the veterinary products registered with the authority

• Noticing reduced vaccine effectiveness or animals not responding to immunization

• Changes in the product’s color, appearance, or texture

• Unexpected side effects after using the product
