Jawazat launches new service to edit domestic workers’ translated names on Absher

The General Directorate of Passports has introduced a new service enabling employers to edit the translated names of their domestic workers through the Absher platform. Employers can now electronically update the translated name for any domestic worker under their sponsorship.

According to a statement on X, the Jawazat explained that to use the service, employers should log in to the Absher website, select 'Resident Services,' choose the relevant worker, and then update the translated name.

The translated name must be in English for residents of Arab nationalities, and in Arabic for residents of non-Arab nationalities.
