Above-average rainfall expected across most of Saudi Arabia in October

The National Center for Meteorology has issued its forecast for rainfall in Saudi Arabia during October, indicating that most regions are likely to see precipitation levels above the usual climate averages.

Spokesman Hussein bin Mohammed Al-Qahtani said the forecast covers several areas, including Riyadh, Makkah, Madinah, Asir, Al-Baha, Jazan, Najran, Qassim, Hail, the Eastern Province, Al-Jouf, Tabuk, and the Northern Borders Region, with varying chances and amounts of rainfall expected across these locations.

Al-Qahtani added that climate indicators suggest the likelihood of continued rainfall into November, noting that more detailed information on the timing and distribution of rainfall events will become clearer as the dates approach.

The National Center for Meteorology also confirmed it will release further detailed reports on affected areas and developments, based on the latest meteorological and climate data available.

The center urged citizens and residents to follow its official reports and bulletins for updates on expected weather conditions.
