Heavy rain and strong winds forecast for Jazan until Monday evening

The National Center for Meteorology on Monday issued a warning of moderate to heavy rainfall expected across the Jazan region, accompanied by strong winds, a sharp drop in horizontal visibility, hail, flash flooding, and thunderstorms.

The center said the alert covers Jazan city and the governorates of Al-Harth, Al-Daer (Bani Malik), Al-Rayth, Al-Aridhah, Al-Aydabi, Fayfa, Harub, Al-Tuwal, Samtah, Ahad Al-Masarhah, Abu Arish, Dhamad, Sabya, Al-Darb, and Baish, as well as the Al-Fateha center and Farasan Island.

The center added that the adverse weather conditions are expected to persist until 8 p.m. Monday, God willing.
