Civil Defense declares end of threat to Jazan city

The General Directorate of Civil Defense has announced that the threat to Jazan city has ended, while stressing the importance of adhering to instructions and guidelines issued by the relevant authorities.

Through its account on the X platform, Civil Defense called on all citizens and residents to continue following its instructions published through official channels, avoid gathering at incident sites or affected areas, and to refrain from taking photos in order to maintain public safety and not obstruct field operations.

Earlier, Civil Defense had issued a warning via the National Early Warning Platform for Emergencies in Jazan city to alert the public to the danger.

Civil Defense emphasized that following its instructions and staying away from danger zones helps protect lives and property, and enables field teams to carry out their duties with maximum efficiency.

It also confirmed that in case of emergency, the public can call 998 directly to report incidents and request immediate assistance.
