AIUnder the patronage of King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and organized by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in cooperation with the Guests of God Service Program—part of Saudi Vision 2030—the ministry is set to showcase highlights of the sixth Hajj Conference and Exhibition in Jeddah. The event, which aims to support early preparations for the upcoming Hajj season, will open Sunday at Jeddah Superdome.
The Hajj Conference and Exhibition is a key platform for early planning for the Hajj season, bringing together agencies, Hajj affairs offices, service providers, companies, and specialists to discuss needs, develop solutions, build partnerships, and finalize arrangements and contracts that enhance the quality of services for pilgrims.
Over its previous five editions, the conference has resulted in more than 1,850 service agreements for pilgrims, hosted over 310 sessions and 250 workshops, and welcomed more than 570,000 visitors. This sixth edition will feature participation from more than 520 entities across government, private, and non-profit sectors, with attendees from over 150 countries. The event will span more than 67,000 square meters and include over 15 main zones and programs.
Dr. Ghassan bin Rashid Al-Nowaimi, Assistant Undersecretary for International Relations and official spokesperson for the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, said the true value of the conference lies in its outcomes—turning meetings into agreements, agreements into contracts, discussions into action plans, and ideas into solutions and projects that reach the field and improve the pilgrim experience.
He emphasized that the Hajj journey begins months before pilgrims arrive in Makkah, through early planning, partner coordination, clear roles and responsibilities, reviewing plans, and testing services, all of which help make the pilgrimage smoother and more reassuring.
The ministry spokesperson concluded by highlighting that the theme "From Makkah to the World" reflects the city's significance and Saudi Arabia's accumulated expertise in managing Hajj and Umrah seasons, handling large crowds, developing services, and leveraging technology and innovation. This, he said, paves the way for new solutions and partnerships with organizations and experts worldwide.
