Red Sea International and Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Group open Red Sea Hospital

Red Sea International, the developer behind one of the world’s most ambitious regenerative tourism destinations, and Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Group have inaugurated the Red Sea Hospital at the Red Sea destination on Thursday, September 17, 2026. The opening ceremony was attended by Minister of Health Fahad bin Abdulrahman Al-Jalajel, Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib, founder and chairman of the group, John Pagano, CEO of Red Sea International, as well as senior officials and prominent figures. The launch marks a major milestone in the destination’s development, providing advanced healthcare services for employees, residents, guests, and local Red Sea communities.

The hospital is the result of a strategic partnership between the two organizations. Under the agreement, Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Group—one of Saudi Arabia’s leading healthcare providers—will manage and operate the hospital with experienced medical staff and advanced technologies. This move underscores both partners’ commitment to developing safe, resilient, and integrated destinations. The partnership combines Red Sea International’s expertise in destination development with the group’s experience in advanced healthcare, medical services management, and digital health.

The hospital offers emergency, inpatient, outpatient, and specialized clinic services, as well as surgical facilities and digital health services. Fully licensed by the Ministry of Health, it is designed to meet both national and international standards, integrating advanced technology with patient-centered care for a seamless treatment experience.

Managed and operated by the group, the hospital is the centerpiece of this healthcare ecosystem, which will also include six pharmacies and a dedicated emergency medical response system capable of rapid patient transport to the hospital.

The partnership supports the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 to enhance healthcare access, improve quality of life, and enable the continued growth of the Kingdom’s tourism sector.

Since welcoming its first guests in 2023, the Red Sea destination has continued to expand its portfolio of resorts, infrastructure, and essential services. It now features 11 operational resorts and hotels, with six more set to open soon on Shura Island.
