The Transport General Authority (TGA) fined over 400 foreign trucks across several regions of the Kingdom between March 16 and 21 for regulatory violations.

This came as part of TGA’s intensive field campaigns on land transport activities, aimed at enhancing compliance with approved regulations and laws.

TGA confirmed that it applied legal measures against all monitored violating trucks, including financial fines and the seizure of some trucks, to reduce violations and ensure adherence to regulations governing their operations within Saudi Arabia.

The authority emphasized that there would be no leniency in enforcing penalties.

The authority emphasized the continuation of its regulatory efforts across all regions, and its commitment to ensuring fair competition, enhancing road safety, and improving the quality of logistical services, all of which positively impact the Kingdom’s transportation system.
