President of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais highlighted the great virtue and high status of the Prophet's Mosque, emphasizing that praying in it is better than praying a thousand times elsewhere.

In a guidance speech following his leading of the Isha prayer at the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah, Dr. Al-Sudais affirmed that the service of the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors is a firm approach followed by King Abdulaziz since the unification of the Kingdom, continuing through the reign of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
