Under the patronage of the President of the General Court of Audit and President of the Arab Confederation for Institutes of Internal Auditors (ARABCIIA) Dr. Hussam Al-Angari, the second conference of the confederation commenced on Wednesday.
The event, organized by ARABCIIA, brings together representatives from 13 Arab countries, including the chairpersons of member associations, in the AlUla Governorate. The conference was attended by the board of directors of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), its executive leadership, and a distinguished group of professionals and experts in the field of internal auditing.
Furthermore, the conference featured three sessions addressing key global internal auditing challenges and updates. Discussions focused on strategic visions and methodologies for the profession’s future in the region and the latest global developments in internal auditing, particularly in innovative technologies, data analytics, governance, and risk management.
The sessions also explored ethical conduct and professional responsibilities within the field.
