The Saudi science and engineering team has begun its final preparations in Los Angeles for this year's Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF), which will see the participation of 1,700 students from 70 countries.
The head of the Saudi delegation and Deputy Secretary General For Gifted Services At King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation For Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba), Dr. Basil AsSadhan, told the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reporter that the final training phase for ISEF will begin in a three-day training camp with over ten supervisors and several volunteer students who competed in previous editions of ISEF.
Director of the General Directorate for Gifted Provision at the Ministry of Education, Jawaher bin Yousef, expressed confidence in the Saudi teams' projects and said that the Kingdom's participation in ISEF reflects its commitment to supporting research and innovation and nurturing the intellectual growth of Saudi citizens.
