Egypt and Saudi Arabia fully aligned on shared interests, presidency says

Egypt’s presidency has affirmed complete alignment with Saudi Arabia, stating that the interests and objectives of both countries are one and the same. The two nations also agreed to enhance solidarity and coordination in light of current circumstances.

The presidency reiterated Egypt and Saudi Arabia’s ongoing support for the security and stability of Sudan, and their rejection of equating the Sudanese army with any parallel militias.

Regarding the Palestinian issue and the Gaza Strip, Egypt’s presidency confirmed that Cairo and Riyadh share identical positions on developments and related matters.

Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman arrived in Cairo today on a working visit. He was received at Cairo International Airport by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
