The Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission (LPTC) will lead Saudi Arabia’s participation in the 38th Moscow International Book Fair (MIBF) 2025, scheduled to be held from September 3 to 7 in Moscow, Russia.

The event will showcase the development of Saudi Arabia’s cultural movement and its openness to the world.

CEO of the LPTC Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Alwasel stated that Saudi Arabia’s participation provides an opportunity to showcase the contemporary face of national culture and introduce Saudi literary and creative talents to an international audience.

He noted that the commission aims to open new horizons of cooperation in literature, publishing, and translation, and to expand the global reach of Saudi content.

Alwasel added that this participation is part of the commission’s broader efforts to enhance Saudi Arabia’s presence in international cultural forums by supporting national publishing houses and enabling them to establish global partnerships.

He noted that it also highlights Saudi literary and knowledge production and fosters cooperation in the book and translation industries.

This aligns with Saudi Vision 2030, which prioritizes culture at the center of development and international exchange.
