Saudi Arabia Marks World First Aid Day

The Saudi Red Crescent Authority joined the global celebration of World First Aid Day on the second Saturday of September, emphasizing that first aid is central to its mission to save lives and aligns with the Saudi Vision 2030 pillar of building a vibrant society that prioritizes the health and well-being of its people.

Launched in 2000 by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, the day aims to raise global awareness about the importance of first aid in saving lives and responding to everyday accidents, while also encouraging people to learn these vital skills.
