Saudi Arabia Boosts Education and Disaster Preparedness in Pakistan

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) is implementing a major package of vital humanitarian projects across Pakistan focused on education and infrastructure.

Key initiatives include the construction of 300 schools across all Pakistani provinces to provide comprehensive learning environments for children in vulnerable communities, the construction of four government schools in earthquake-stricken areas of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and the rehabilitation of 22 diverse projects in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, and Azad Jammu and Kashmir, encompassing schools, health centers, and water and sanitation facilities to enhance sustainability.

Additionally, KSrelief is currently constructing a logistics warehouse for disaster management in Islamabad designed to enhance early preparedness and ensure a rapid, efficient humanitarian response to emergencies and disasters across the country.
