Education Ministry and Mawhiba launch National Talent Olympiad

Deputy Minister of Education for General Education Saad bin Awad Al-Harbi and Secretary-General of the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba), Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al-Kreidis, today launched the National Talent Olympiad at the Ministry of Education headquarters in Riyadh.

The initiative is part of a strategic partnership between the Ministry of Education and Mawhiba to identify gifted students, develop their scientific and research abilities, and prepare them to compete in scientific olympiads and competitions at the local, regional, and international levels.

The Olympiad aims to enhance students' scientific thinking, research, analysis, and problem-solving skills, while strengthening collaboration between educational institutions and national organizations dedicated to nurturing talent. Specialized programs and pathways will guide students from discovery and qualification through to advanced training and participation in scientific competitions, helping to foster a creative and innovative generation and raise Saudi Arabia’s profile in international scientific forums.
