Roads Authority Launches Mobile Aid Stations for Pilgrims on Hijrah Road

The Roads General Authority (RGA) has launched a new mobile station service for pilgrims traveling along the Hijrah Road (Makkah-Madinah Highway). This initiative aims to enhance the comfort and safety of pilgrims in the event of a bus breakdown.

The launch was attended by Minister of Transport and Logistic Services and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the RGA Eng. Saleh Al-Jasser.

Operating around the clock throughout the Hajj season, each mobile station can accommodate up to 40 pilgrims at a time.

They are fully equipped with air conditioning, restrooms, cold beverages, and complimentary meals.

The initiative underscores the authority’s commitment to ensuring the highest standards of comfort and safety for pilgrims traveling between Makkah, Madinah, and the holy sites.
