The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has expressed deep regret over the U.S. Department of State's decision to deny visas to the Palestinian delegation, preventing their participation in the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly, scheduled to be held in New York.

The OIC called on the U.S. government to reconsider this discriminatory decision, which it deems a violation of international law and the Headquarters Agreement, which it has signed.

It urged the U.S. to uphold its obligations under this agreement and to respect the role of the United Nations as a universal platform for all member states and their official representatives.

Additionally, the OIC urged all members of the international community, particularly the United Nations, to take prompt action with the relevant U.S. authorities to ensure the reversal of this decision.
