Turki Al-Sheikh, head of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), has announced that the number of visitors who visited the third edition of Riyadh Season has crossed 12 million in 90 days since the start of its events. The third edition of Riyadh Season under the slogan "Beyond Imagination" has provided several entertaining options that suit all tastes and ages of visitors around the world.
Since the launch of its diverse activities, Riyadh Season has witnessed more than a billion interactions including its massive opening ceremony. Moreover, the third season has made several records by holding a package of events that aspires to establish a global entertainment future at the level of Saudi Arabia and the region.
Riyadh Season has lined up many impressive international activities and displays, the latest being the much-awaited Riyadh Season Cup match that will bring together the world football giants at King Fahd International Stadium in the Saudi capital. A joint Saudi team comprising Al-Hilal and Al-Nasr stars will meet Paris Saint-Germain on Thursday. Cristiano Ronaldo has been confirmed as the captain of the Saudi All-Star XI.
A-Sheikh said: “The Riyadh Season Cup match will be broadcast across the Middle East over two platforms. The match has already attained global attention, and the television channels are racing to obtain the rights for the live broadcast. “During the half time of the match, three members from among the football fans, who came to watch the match, will be randomly selected to obtain shirts signed by Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar from Paris Saint Germain, and Cristiano Ronaldo and Salem Al-Dossary from the side of the Riyadh Season.”
