Jeddah traffic police detain driver for stunt driving violation

Jeddah’s General Directorate of Traffic officers have detained a driver for performing stunt driving in the city.

The department announced on X that all legal procedures have been completed regarding the driver.

According to Saudi traffic regulations, stunt driving is defined as deliberately driving a vehicle recklessly on roads or in public places in an irregular manner deliberately, and without legitimate reason; causing tires to screech, making the vehicle slide left or right, or spin while moving forward or backward, using the engine, brakes, or transmission for show.

Stunt driving also includes tilting the vehicle to drive on only the right or left wheels, riding a two-wheeled motorcycle on one wheel, exiting the vehicle or allowing a passenger to do so while it is moving, or removing parts of the vehicle during motion for the purpose of showing off.
