Mount Muhajjah, a prominent natural landmark located 240 kilometers southwest of Hail Region, tells a compelling story of history and culture through its distinctive rocky cavities blending with golden sand to form layered shapes that reveal ancient earth strata shaped by weathering and erosion.

Holding exceptional historical and geological value, Mount Muhajjah features sandy sedimentary rock formations, natural arches, and surrounding sand dunes.

Its low-lying pastoral areas are rich in desert flora, making it an ideal destination for overland trips and camping, particularly during the clear-skied winter and spring seasons.

The Heritage Commission highlighted that Muhajjah is a testament to ancient civilizations and serves as a hub for natural and cultural tourism. The mountain boasts many distinctive rock inscriptions and drawings dating back to ancient eras, depicting men, camels, horses, deer, and lions. It is also adorned with Thamudic inscriptions and what has been described as a "traveler's diary," reflecting its role in ancient caravan and trade routes.

The Heritage Commission reaffirmed its ongoing commitment to protecting the site and emphasizing its scientific and cultural value, supporting the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to preserve national heritage and enhance the global presence of Hail Region's rich antiquities and rock art.
