King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre (KFSH&RC) is participating as a strategic health partner in the three-day Global Health Exhibition 2023, which begins in Riyadh tomorrow.
The hospital has a pavilion at the exhibition, which is held on the sidelines of the forum, where it showcases its most prominent innovations and health solutions which came as a result of its strategy aimed at strengthening its pioneering position in the field of knowledge through education, research and innovation, and at providing the highest level of health care.
KFSH&RC CEO Dr Majid Ibrahim Al-Fayyadh said on this occasion: “The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is working to consolidate its position as a global leader in the field of innovation, fostering a dynamic ecosystem that embraces the latest technologies to support the future of healthcare, and establish it as a worldwide destination.”
Al-Fayyadh stressed that KFSH&RC participates in the exhibition out of its commitment to boost innovation in the health sector and contribute to providing the highest level of healthcare.
KFSH&RC will introduce visitors to the exhibition to its various health innovations and solutions that have a positive impact on health care and improve efficiency in different medical fields, including space biomedical research, genomic medicine, capacity management, radiopharmaceutical drug production, treatment with T cells (CAR-T Cell), and thus the overall patient journey.
This is bound to underscore its leadership role in overseeing four research experiments in cell sciences, conducted in space, and solidify the hospital's pioneering role in fostering innovation.
The hospital will present its T-cell re-engineering treatment program for cancer patients, which is a significant leap in specialized medical care in the Kingdom, and which eventually translates into reduced financial and health burdens, as patients will no longer need to seek treatment abroad.
