Under the patronage of Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Waleed Elkhereiji inaugurated the ministry’s First Forum on World Law Day today in Riyadh, held in partnership with the Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration.

In his speech, Elkhereiji emphasized that law is more than just written texts; it is an "integrated system of values and principles that guarantees justice and equality." He stated that in today’s complex world, international law and legal diplomacy are essential tools for resolving disputes, fostering cooperation, and achieving sustainable development.

He also stressed that the ministry's general administration of legal affairs plays a pivotal role in legally representing the Kingdom internationally, safeguarding its interests, and affirming its commitment to legal standards and agreements.

He added that this work reflects a positive image of Saudi Arabia and enhances its standing among nations.
