The Ekram Association for Food Preservation in Makkah has provided SAR7 million worth of services to 1,654,431 individuals in the first 15 days of Ramadan.
According to Director of the association Ahmed Al-Matrafi, services included distributing meals, water bottles, food baskets, fresh meat, dates, fruits, vegetables, and sweets to worshippers in various locations, including the Grand Mosque and the central area.
According to Al-Matrafi, around 5,000 volunteers participated in providing these services.
