Acting Secretary General of the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba) Dr. Khalid Al-Sharif expressed his thanks and appreciation to the wise leadership on the occasion of the Saudi Science and Engineering Team achieving 23 international awards at the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF, 2025), held in Columbus, Ohio, USA.
Dr. Al-Sharif emphasized that this achievement is the culmination of the integrated efforts of Mawhiba, the Ministry of Education, and their strategic partners, and reflects the promising talents of the Kingdom's citizens, who contribute to building a prosperous future in the fields of science and innovation.
The Saudi Science and Engineering Team, consisting of 40 male and female students, participated with distinguished and unique projects in promising scientific fields at the exhibition, which this year's edition was held with the participation of more than 1,700 male and female students representing 70 countries.
With this achievement, the Kingdom's tally in this competition, through its successive participations, has risen to 183 awards, including 124 grand prizes and 59 special prizes.
