Supported by KSrelief, Prosthetics Center in Marib, Yemen, Provides Services to 322 Beneficiaries in January

The Prosthetics and Rehabilitation Center in Marib Governorate, Yemen, successfully delivered its diverse medical services to 322 beneficiaries who lost limbs in January 2024, thanks to the support provided by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief).

Throughout the project, a total of 1,419 services were rendered, with 72% of recipients being male and 28% female.

Displaced persons accounted for 84% of the total beneficiaries, while residents comprised 16%.

The center played a crucial role in the measurement, manufacturing, fitting, delivery, and maintenance of artificial limbs and prosthetics. Additionally, the project offered rehabilitation and physiotherapy services, complete with specialized consultations.

This initiative stands as a continuation of the humanitarian and relief projects undertaken by KSrelief, aimed at enhancing the capabilities of the health sector and easing the hardships faced by the people of Yemen.
