The Secretary-General of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for Arab States Dr. Naif Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf confirmed that consultations between Yemeni parties will be held at the headquarters of the GCC General Secretariat in Riyadh from March 29 to April 7, 2022.

The consultations will be heldunder the auspices of the Council, he said.

He also pointed out that they will be held within the Council's ongoing efforts aimed at ending the crisis in Yemen and bringing it to the stage of peace and national reconciliation, which meets the aspirations of Yemenis, in addition to restoring stability and ensuring decent living conditions for the Yemeni people.

Dr. Al-Hajraf further said in the press conference held at the headquarters of the GCC General Secretariat here today that Yemen is an integral part of its Arab and Gulf surroundings, and is linked with its neighbors by the unity and belonging, roots, geography, religion and lineage, looking forward to a promising future that will make these bonds stronger and deeper.
