Three falcons were sold for a total of SAR 319,000 on the 16th night of the 2026 National Falcon Auction, organized by the National Center for Falcons and running until November 30, with a large turnout of falconry heritage enthusiasts.

The evening began with the first falcon, a young peregrine caught in Al-Amhas (south of Hazm Al-Jalamid), with nine hunters participating in its capture. Bidding started at SAR 70,000 and the bird was sold for SAR 153,000. The second falcon, also a young peregrine from Rafha, was caught by six hunters. Bidding opened at SAR 60,000 and it was sold for SAR 86,000. The night concluded with the third falcon, a young peregrine from Hanidh (Wadi Al-Ajman), caught by Abdullah Tamim Al-Dosari. Bidding started at SAR 50,000 and the falcon was sold for SAR 80,000.

The auction is limited to young migratory peregrine falcons caught within the Kingdom, and does not include adult peregrines or saker falcons, in support of their sustainability and preservation of their breeds.

Local falcons will continue to be received for two months, while auction nights are broadcast on television and social media platforms, allowing falconers and enthusiasts to follow the event.

The National Center for Falcons offers a range of integrated services and benefits to hunters throughout the season. Center teams in various regions receive the falcon owners, providing accommodation and transportation to the auction venue. Each falcon is presented in a fast-paced, competitive live auction broadcast on TV and the Center's social media accounts.
