Winter Al-Deira festival opens in Riyadh with parade and cultural experiences

Winter Al-Deira, one of the zones of the seventh Riyadh Season and organized by Al-Deira Development Company, opened yesterday to enthusiastic crowds eager to explore its diverse cultural, heritage, and entertainment experiences. The event blends authentic local traditions with modern attractions, offering visitors a chance to discover Al-Deira’s markets and landmarks, as well as enjoy shopping, dining, and interactive activities.

The launch featured a celebratory parade that started at Al-Deira Park, passed along Al-Ataif Street, and concluded at Al-Qaisariyah Square. Visitors engaged with the accompanying performances and festivities, reflecting the spirit and identity of the area. The opening marked the beginning of a 128-day program featuring a range of experiences and activities that highlight Al-Deira’s authentic character and showcase its cultural and heritage assets.
