The Brazilian Chamusca leads Al-Hilal after Zoran Mamić

Press reports revealed an imminent agreement between the administration of Al-Hilal club and the Brazilian Péricles Chamusca, coach of Al-Faisali, to lead the team.

This comes after the official dismissal of the current Croatian coach, Zoran Mamić after the five-nil loss of the team in front of Al-Taawoun in the semi-finals of the Cup of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.

Al-Hilaladministration has expressed its desire to get the Portuguese Jesús back, theformer coach of the team, who gave his consent to return before going backtoday and says that he has a European offer, to confirm a final agreement with Chamusca, who will lead the training today.

Al Hilal isfacing a crucial match against Al-Taawoun on Monday for the 28th round of theMuhammad Bin Salman Professionals' League. It is expected to be the firstencounter of the Blue Capital team with the Brazilian coach.

Al Hilal istrying to catch up with the last opportunity to reconcile with its fans bywinning the league cup, where it is ranked second with 63 points, one pointbehind the leading team, Al-Nasr. Al-Hilal has a postponed match in front of Al-Taawounthat will take place next Monday.

Who is Chamusca?

The Brazilian Péricles Chamusca began his training career in the early of 1990s in the Brazilian league, before going on to his first overseas experience with Uita Trinita in the 2005-2006 season, returning to Brazil to move to the Gulf as a coach of the UAE in the 2016-2017 season. He has trained 28 teams during his 24-year-coaching career.

The Brazilian coachhas achieved excellent results since coming to Al-Faisali in early October2018, leading the team to the sixth rank with 43 points and without any lossesin 10 consecutive games; the team won five matches and tied in the others,scoring 18 goals and receiving seven goals.
