Houston’s Mayor Grants Honorary Citizenship Certificate to Saudi Consul General

Mayor of the City of Houston, Texas, USA, Sylvester Turner granted the US honorary citizenship to the Consul General to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Houston, Ambassador Sultan Abdullah Al-Luwaihan Al-Anqari, for his diplomatic efforts to promote Saudi-American relations.

Turner praised the Saudi-American relations in variousfields and the great efforts exerted by the Saudi consulate in Houston topromote this aspect, represented by the Consul General, during his tenure asConsul General of the Kingdom in Houston.

The session was attended by members of the Municipal Councilas well as the consuls of foreign countries accredited to the city, heads ofIslamic centers and communities, directors of hospitals and medicalinstitutions, and representatives of Saudi companies in Houston.
