The Royal Commission for AlUla has announced that the second edition of the Summer Fruits Season recorded a sales volume increase of over 110%, with more than 6,600 kilograms of fruits sold, compared to over 2,800 kilograms during the first season.

The season saw a revenue increase of over 50%, surpassing SAR 250,000, highlighting the commission’s efforts to advance the agricultural sector, drive sustainable economic growth for farmers, and support AlUla’s broader agricultural development goals in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030.

The increase in sales coincided with strong public turnout at the inaugural “Khayrat AlUla” season at AlManshiyah Farmers Market, drawing residents, locals, and visitors.

The high demand led to an extension of the event, with visitor numbers surpassing 14,000, an increase of more than 95% compared to the first season, highlighting the high quality of locally produced crops.

During the season, farmers showcased a variety of fruits for which local farms are renowned, such as mangoes, figs, and grapes.

Families working in the cottage industry also took part by presenting their goods in a celebration that combined agriculture and economy to support comprehensive development.
