Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance has stepped up religious awareness programs and services in prayer halls at hotels near the Grand Mosque in Makkah during the Hajj season, as pilgrim numbers rise, the ministry said.

The initiative is part of a broader plan aimed at helping pilgrims perform Hajj rituals with greater understanding and confidence through guidance and educational support.

The programs include lessons and lectures delivered by preachers and translators in multiple languages to accommodate pilgrims from different nationalities and cultural backgrounds.

Services provided include daily sessions explaining Hajj rituals and rulings, religious talks promoting faith values, responses to pilgrims’ questions on worship practices, and guidance on the significance of Makkah and the holy sites.

The ministry said it has also expanded the use of digital technology by broadcasting awareness and guidance messages in several languages on electronic screens inside prayer halls, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
