It is reported that Houthi rebels kidnapped yesterday morning seven principals of girls schools in the capital Sana’a among of them Sabah al-Qarai, Head of Assmawi School and Amal al-Qiyadhi, Head of May School. The seven ladies said to be taken away to an unkown destination.
In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the Yemeni minister stated that this is one more terrorist heinous crime in a long series of kidnapping acts the Houthi militia has embarked on against Yemeni females since 2014.
Al-Iryani called on the international community, the UN and its Special Envoy for Yemen Martin Griffiths to openly denounce this shameful crime.
He also called for pressuring Houthi militia to stop atrocities and violations against the Yemeni women, by immediately releasing the detained ones.
