Egyptian, Algerian presidents discuss regional developments in phone call

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi held a telephone conversation today with Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.

During the call, the two leaders discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations, reviewed the latest regional developments, and reaffirmed their joint rejection of any infringement on the security and sovereignty of Arab states. They also stressed the importance of supporting international and regional efforts to de-escalate tensions in the region.
