Iran’s Revolutionary Guard warns it will block Hormuz to states receiving frozen assets

Iran’s Revolutionary Guard has stated it will not allow passage through the Strait of Hormuz for any country or company that receives Iranian frozen assets, according to Al Arabiya.

Meanwhile, Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters declared that any attempt by the United States to impose a blockade would be considered an escalation of war, stressing that the Iranian armed forces will respond to any American threat or act of aggression.

Omani Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad bin Hamoud Al Busaidi held a consultative meeting today via video conference with the foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council states. The ministers exchanged views on current developments, ongoing negotiations, and efforts to reach practical understandings that would help reduce tensions and strengthen regional security and stability.
