Drone attack targets Iranian opposition base in Sulaymaniyah, Iraqi source says

An Iraqi security source has reported that a drone attack targeted a base belonging to the Iranian opposition in the Rania district of Sulaymaniyah.

The source also confirmed an attack on an Iranian opposition camp in the Koya area, east of Erbil, according to Al Arabiya.

On Tuesday, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the continued use of drones by Iran-backed militias in Iraq to target oil facilities in the Eastern Province.

In a statement, the ministry reaffirmed Saudi Arabia's commitment to maintaining its security and sovereignty, stressing its legitimate right to take all necessary measures to respond to and deter aggression.
