Iran launches new trust-building initiative with Gulf states, says foreign minister

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said his country has embarked on a new path to build trust with Gulf states.

Speaking on Sunday, Araqchi expressed hope that the United States would act with wisdom and logic, adding, "If it resorts to military action, we are prepared," according to Iranian media reports.

He also stressed that Iran is ready to deliver a more destructive response to any military aggression.
